The Great War brought on many changes on the world. The economy is starting to plummet, and things start to become hard for everyone.  People are sad watching their sons go, and people are scared going into war. Life was hard for the soldiers, with poor conditions, low supplies and separation from their families put a serious strain on families. Fighting in trenches and on open fields, war combat was brutal. They used poisonous gases and gas the trenches. They should know that it is not pretty, and that deaths are very common. And that even after they leave the war, if they do make it out, it is going to be very hard to deal with.
