The Treaty of Versailles was the treaty that officially ended WW1.
The Highlights of the Treaty of Versailles:
- Land was taken away from Germany
- Took over control of Germany's overseas colonies
- Germanys army was reduced to 100,000 men and weren't allowed tanks
- Germany wasn't allowed and Air Force, only six capital naval ships, no submarines.
- Germany was forbidden to unite with Austria to make one super-state.
- Germany had to admit that they started the war.
- Germany had to pay for the damages of the war.
